Community Guidelines

HeartStack brings adults together through people who know them. Treat every introduction as an invitation that either person can freely decline. These guidelines apply to singles, matchmakers, profiles, introduction notes, messages, and conduct connected to HeartStack.
Be yourself and be honest
Use accurate information and photographs you have permission to share. Do not impersonate someone, falsify your age, invent a relationship to a single, or operate fake profiles. Matchmakers must know the singles they introduce and have permission to propose the introduction.
Respect consent and boundaries
Both singles must accept before in-app messaging begins. An acceptance is permission to start a conversation, not an obligation to continue it or meet in person. Accept "no," silence, a declined introduction, or a request to stop. Do not evade a block, use another account to reconnect, or ask a matchmaker to pressure someone.
Adults only
Everyone must be at least 18 and at least the age of legal majority where they live. Do not create profiles for minors, propose introductions involving minors, groom anyone, or post sexual content involving anyone under 18. Report suspected underage accounts immediately.
No harassment, abuse, or hate
Threats, stalking, intimidation, sexual harassment, coercive control, humiliation, and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited. Do not attack, dehumanize, or threaten people based on protected characteristics or encourage violence against anyone. A dating preference is not permission to demean another person.
No exploitation or trafficking
Human trafficking, forced labor, sexual exploitation, grooming, blackmail, and any attempt to buy, sell, control, recruit, or exploit a person are prohibited. Do not use financial pressure, threats, immigration status, housing, employment, or access to necessities to obtain romantic or sexual participation.
Keep it appropriate for this service
HeartStack supports consensual adult dating and relationships. Do not post pornography, nudity, sexually explicit images or videos, or graphic sexual solicitations. Unsolicited sexual messages are prohibited. Escorting, prostitution, compensated sexual arrangements, adult entertainment promotion, and arrangements that exchange money or anything of value for sexual activity are prohibited. Do not sell access to a person, a date, or a private conversation.
Protect privacy
Do not post someone's address, identification documents, financial information, private messages, or intimate images without lawful permission. Do not scrape profiles or share profile screenshots to embarrass someone. You may preserve relevant evidence and make lawful reports to HeartStack, professional advisers, or authorities.
No scams or commercial pressure
Do not solicit money, investments, cryptocurrency transfers, gift cards, account access, or financial favors through a romantic introduction. No romance scams, spam, recruiting schemes, or unrelated promotions. Matchmaker Pro pays for platform features; it does not entitle a matchmaker to pressure singles or charge them for acceptance or messages.
Report concerns
Use reporting controls where available or contact support@heartstack.app. Include the account or introduction involved and a brief description. Do not download, request, or forward illegal sexual material as evidence.
If there is immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. HeartStack is not an emergency response service and does not promise real-time monitoring.
How we respond
Depending on the situation, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, preserve relevant records, or report matters when required or appropriate under law. Severe violations may result in immediate removal. We may consider credible conduct outside the app when it creates a safety risk connected to HeartStack.
To request review of a moderation decision, contact support@heartstack.app. Never retaliate against someone for reporting a concern in good faith.
